Aliya Ali-Afzal is "The Career Coach" and the Managing Director of Career Coach UK. She has trained with the Coaching Academy, Europe's leading and most established coaching school. She has also trained with the leading US Career Coach, Laura Berman Fortgang and Aliya is one of the first coaches worldwide, authorised to deliver Laura's "Life Blueprint" career programme. Aliya is a member of the International Coach Federation and the Association for Coaching. Previously, Aliya worked as a recruitment consultant for a top City firm, specialising in banking recruitment for leading multinationals. The combination of her recruitment background and her career coaching experience mean that she can help you to get a more strategic "overview" of your career. Aliya's personal career experiences include successfully changing careers ( from a linguist to a head hunter to a career coach), returning to the corporate world after a seven year career break to raise her family and finally, starting her own business. She has a degree in Russian and German (King's College, University of London) and although she has travelled all over the world, her favourite place on the planet is Wimbledon, London, where she has lived all her life! |
